Meridian System

A meridian is a pathway of energy. The meridian system is made up of acupressure vessels, located throughout the body. They contain a free-flowing colourless, non-cellular liquid which may be partly actuated by the heart. The meridians have been measured and mapped by modern technological methods, electronically, thermatically, and radioactively. There are specific acupuncture points along the meridians. These points are electromagnetic in character. They consist of small, oval cells called bonham corpuscles. These cells surround the capillaries in the skin, the blood vessels, and the organs throughout the body.
